Southpointe Rehab Center & Baypointe Rehab Center – Southpointe and Baypointe are sister senior living communities located in Fall River and Brockton, Massachusetts. Designed with identical floorplans and a shared design vision, these renovations focus on refreshing the interiors while honoring the traditional charm of the original buildings. The updates were tailored to enhance comfort and familiarity for residents while offering a clean, updated aesthetic.
Design Vision &
Project Overview
The design embraces a classic New England sensibility with a soft, coastal-inspired palette of blues, greens, and warm neutrals. Light wood tones and subtle quartz textures complement the existing wall paneling and wainscoting, bringing new life to the interiors while maintaining a sense of heritage. Shared finishes and furnishings across both locations create a cohesive identity between the two facilities, evoking a relaxed yet refined charm.
While Southpointe and Baypointe share an overall design language, each facility presented its own unique set of existing architectural details—from distinct millwork to differing layouts. The challenge was to create a cohesive visual identity across both locations while thoughtfully adapting the design to honor the character of each space. Through careful coordination of finishes, furnishings, and layout adjustments, the result is a pair of distinct yet unified environments that feel connected but contextually sensitive.
Design Direction &
Deliverables
I led the design visioning process and supported the full design development phase across both sites. My work included coordinating renderings, selecting finishes and furniture, and assembling layout presentations for client approval. I also produced the complete FF&E schedule and collaborated on finish and furniture plans. Working closely with the rest of the team, I ensured the shared design language was consistent across both properties, delivering a thoughtful, refreshed experience for residents and staff alike.
